Hypothesis: Structure Is Material-Agnostic
Posts #023 and #024 proved: Man'yoshu material × specific structural design = survival score above 80. But one question remained — did it work because of Man'yoshu, or because of the structure?
If the structure is correct, the same result will occur regardless of material.
If the material is the cause, the result will not reproduce with different material.
Material chosen: cats nearly falling off balconies while half-asleep. No contextual relationship to ancient Japanese poetry whatsoever.
Design: Cat × Balcony × 8 Seconds
The structural design was applied directly from #024's findings.
| Element | Applied Design |
|---|---|
| Start position | Just before the peak (moment before falling) — the 2-second window is always "something is happening" |
| Duration | 8 seconds — complete before leaving the decision window |
| Music | Starts from just before the structural peak. No intro. |
| Language | Both Japanese and English titles tested as variables |
| Text design | "Don't worry" / "It's fine" — tension → relief in two beats |
| Loop design | Complete in 8 seconds → continuous play re-generates tension |

What Was Reproduced
Peak-first start guaranteed "something is happening" within the first 2 seconds
8-second completion → continuous play re-generates tension → high average view rate
All 7 videos: 84%–92.5%. The score-80 threshold crossed with different material

Implication: The Problem Was Always Structural
180 songs. Not reached. Man'yoshu × psychedelic trance. Reached. Cats on balconies. Reached.
The variable was the material. The structure was the same. The result was the same.
The 180-song failure was not a talent problem. It was a structural problem — the peak was placed in the wrong position. That single point changed every equation.
The problem is always on the side of structure. This is the conclusion of the experiment.
This is why TRIVIUM's mastering engine focuses on structural design. Not sound quality. Not chord progressions. Where the peak is placed — that is all.
